This policy explains how spellwind.ai (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage and pixels), and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, like localStorage, store data in the browser without being sent with every request. They can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another service), and "session" (deleted when the browser closes) or "persistent" (kept until they expire or you delete them).
2. What we use
Strictly necessary. The Site itself is a static page and sets no cookies of its own to function.
Analytics — PostHog. We use PostHog to understand how the Site is used: pages viewed, referrer, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events. PostHog stores identifiers in cookies and localStorage under keys beginning with ph_ (for example, a key of the form ph_<project>_posthog), persisting for up to 12 months. We use this data only to understand and improve the Site; it is not used for advertising and is not sold.
Checkout — Polar. Purchases happen on Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Pages on Polar's domain set their own cookies under Polar's privacy and cookie policies.
We will update this policy before adding any new categories of cookies or trackers to the Site.
3. Consent and your choices
Where the law requires it (including in the EEA and the UK), analytics runs only after you allow it in the cookie notice, and ignoring the notice means no analytics. You can change a recorded choice at any time at spellwind.ai/#cookie-settings — the notice reopens with the same two buttons.
You can also manage cookies in your browser: block or delete them for this site or all sites (see your browser's help for Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your use of the Site.
We treat opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as an opt-out of analytics where they apply.
